Proudly Australian-owned company, Elyptol, has partnered with not-for-profit conservation effort WildArk, to help raise funds to purchase 3,000 acres in the Richmond Ranges of NSW, to provide critical habitat for native animals, including koalas.
The area in the Richmond Ranges in New South Wales is a wooded Eucalypt forest that borders on both National Park and State Forest, and will extend the green corridor as a wildlife sanctuary and release zone for injured and rehabilitated wildlife.
WildArk are working to raise the remaining $400,000 to acquire the land, with the additional funds raised helping to support ongoing projects including Predator Proof fencing, weed extraction, building an eco visitor centre and riparian zones, and reforestation to help return the land to its original habitat.
Chief Executive Officer of Elyptol, Tim O’Connor said that they are extremely proud to be partnering with WildArk to ensure they are doing their bit for the planet now, and in the future.
“As a company, we support WildArk and the difference they make to the world around us, particularly in Australia. Eucalyptus is a key ingredient in our products, and we want to ensure the habitat for koalas, and other animals, can be saved for generations to come,” Tim O’ Connor said.
Elyptol products are designed for high frequency professional and consumer use, and come in specially sourced recyclable packaging, making it an environmentally friendly choice. While Elyptol’s ingredients comprise of eucalyptus oil, the leaves are harvested from a small shrub, not from the leaves of the trees where the koala lives
